Nick Delf — Managing Director
Nick Delf contributes a broad inside knowledge of the alternatives industry to the KPG team. He possesses extensive experience in investment product development and a regional focus having spent many years living in Asia and Europe. Together with his buy and sell-side experience, Nick enhances KPG’s offerings with a proactive, strategic approach and vast expertise in global capital markets.
Nick began his career at the center of the world’s financial markets with NM Rothschild in London. His trading experience included Commodities, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange in both cash and derivatives markets. Later he was promoted to serve as Head of Treasury in NM Rothschild’s Singapore office. Subsequently recruited as Executive Director for UBS, Nick spent four years working alongside KPG colleagues at UBS’ offices in Zürich, London, Hong Kong and New York. In 2001, he co-founded Maestro Capital Management—a Singapore-based hedge fund specializing in quantitative investment strategies. He served as CEO and CIO of Maestro Capital Management, an Exempted Fund Manager/Financial Advisors with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and simultaneously created and marketed an offshore, exchange-listed fund.
Nick has served as a Committee Member of the Alternative Investment Managers Association (AIMA) in Singapore. Nick was also an Adjunct Professor at ESSEC Business School, teaching in alternative investments with focus on hedge funds. He is currently a level II candidate for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Program, and holds Series 3, 7, 63 and 79 securities registrations. Nick resides with his wife and four children in France.
